Known.(운영: Faylum)은 꿈과 잠을 기록하는 앱입니다. 이 방침은 iPhone·Android·Apple Watch·Wear OS용 Known. 앱과 이 웹 페이지가 어떤 정보를 왜 처리하는지 설명합니다. 시행일: 2026년 10월 16일 · 문의: support@faylum.com. 서비스는 만 14세 이상을 대상으로 하며, 거주 국가의 법령이 더 높은 나이를 정한 경우(예: 유럽 일부 국가의 16세)에는 그 나이 이상을 대상으로 합니다.
1. 수집하는 정보
계정: Firebase 사용자 ID, 로그인 방식(Google·Apple·이메일·게스트), 이메일 주소(Apple 비공개 릴레이 이메일 포함), 닉네임, Apple로 로그인할 때 처음 받은 이름
프로필: 생년월일, 성별, 국가, 생활에 관한 짧은 질문의 답. 별자리 기능을 쓰면 출생 시각과 출생 도시(선택)
직접 만든 콘텐츠: 꿈 기록, 아침 기분과 전날 태그, 리플렉션과 Nox 대화, 타로 질문, 만든 이야기·그림·책, 월드에 올린 글·댓글·신호(익명 편지)와 답장, 드림싱크로 보낸 꿈과 답, 문의와 신고
건강(허용한 경우): iPhone은 Apple 건강 앱의 수면 단계, 심박수, 심박 변이도(HRV), 호흡수, 혈중 산소, 수면 중 호흡 방해, 손목 온도. Android는 Health Connect의 수면, 심박수, 심박 변이도, 호흡수, 산소포화도, 피부 온도
음성(허용한 경우): 마이크로 말한 꿈, 워치에서 녹음한 꿈
위치(허용한 경우): 날씨를 보여 주기 위한 대략적인 기기 위치
구매: 상품 ID, 거래 ID 또는 구매 토큰, 구독 상태. 카드 번호 같은 결제 수단 정보는 받지 않습니다.
기기와 이용 정보: 알림 토큰, 앱 설치 ID, 광고 식별자, 기기 모델·OS·앱 버전, 출석과 기능 사용 기록, 광고 노출·클릭, 충돌·오류 정보, 홍보 링크로 설치한 경우 그 링크의 출처(Android)

3. 꿈 기록과 공유한 콘텐츠
꿈 기록과 대화, 수면 기록은 내 계정(Firebase)에 저장되어 기기를 바꿔도 이어집니다.
월드에 올린 글·댓글·책과 신호는 내가 지우기 전까지 다른 사용자가 볼 수 있습니다.
드림싱크를 연결하면 내가 골라 보낸 꿈과 내가 남긴 답이, 연결한 한 사람에게 쓴 그대로 보입니다. 다른 기록은 보이지 않습니다.
신고된 콘텐츠는 운영자가 확인하며, 규칙을 어긴 콘텐츠는 숨기거나 지울 수 있습니다.
꿈에는 아주 개인적인 이야기가 담길 수 있습니다. 다른 사람을 알아볼 수 있는 정보는 적지 않는 것이 좋습니다.
4. 건강 데이터
건강 데이터는 허용한 경우에만 읽고, 어젯밤 잠과 수면 리포트를 보여 주기 위해 내 계정에 저장합니다. Known.은 건강 앱이나 Health Connect에 데이터를 쓰지 않습니다.
워치의 울림 세션 중에는 소리를 맞추기 위해 심박을 실시간으로 읽습니다. 세션이 끝나면 심박 기록은 남기지 않고, 다음 날 세션을 설명할 요약(시작·마지막·최저 심박)만 기기 안에 두며 서버로 보내지 않습니다. Apple Watch는 이때 운동 세션 권한을 쓰지만 운동 기록은 남기지 않습니다.
AI 기능에 동의한 경우에만 그 밤의 수면 요약(잔 시간·심박 같은 숫자)을 수면 해설에 씁니다. 측정 기록 원본은 보내지 않습니다.
건강 데이터는 광고·마케팅에 쓰지 않고 팔지 않으며, 보험·신용·고용 판단에 쓰지 않습니다.
건강 앱이나 Health Connect에서 언제든 권한을 끌 수 있습니다. 이미 저장된 값은 계정을 삭제하거나 메일로 요청하면 지웁니다.
5. 마이크와 워치 녹음
마이크는 말로 꿈을 남길 때만 씁니다. 말한 내용은 기기의 음성 인식(iPhone은 Apple, Android는 Google)으로 글이 되며, 이 음성은 회사 서버에 저장하지 않습니다.
워치에서 녹음한 꿈은 폰으로 옮겨 글로 바꿉니다. 구독 중이면 녹음을 회사 서버에 올려 OpenAI로 받아쓰고 정리할 수 있습니다.
서버에 올라온 녹음 원본은 글이 꿈 일기에 저장되면 지웁니다. 그 전에는 다시 받아쓸 수 있도록 보관하며, 그 꿈이나 계정을 지우면 함께 지웁니다.
6. AI 기능(OpenAI)
꿈 해석과 리플렉션, 꿈의 흐름, 이야기·그림·책, 운세·타로·별자리, 수호동물 설명, 마음 들여다보기, Nox, 수면 해설, 워치 녹음 받아쓰기, 월드 글 번역은 OpenAI API로 만듭니다.
처음 쓸 때 동의를 받은 뒤에만 보내며, 설정 → 지원 → AI 기능 사용에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다. 끄면 AI 기능은 멈추고 기록은 그대로 쓸 수 있습니다. 다만 동의 화면이 없는 이전 버전의 Android 앱만 쓰는 경우에는 AI 기능을 쓸 때 동의 절차 없이 보냅니다. 앱을 업데이트하면 동의한 뒤에만 보냅니다.
월드에 공개한 글은 다른 사용자가 번역을 요청하면 OpenAI로 번역될 수 있습니다.
보내는 것: 적거나 녹음한 꿈과 고른 답, 대화와 질문, 그 밤의 수면 요약, 별자리에 쓰는 출생 차트 수치. 기능마다 필요한 것만 보냅니다.
보내지 않는 것: 이름·이메일 같은 계정 정보, 연락처, 건강 측정 기록 원본.
OpenAI는 회사를 대신해 처리하는 수탁자이며, 받은 정보를 모델 학습이나 광고에 쓰지 않습니다. 남용 감시를 위해 최대 30일 보관한 뒤 지웁니다.
AI 결과는 참고용이며 의료·심리 상담을 대신하지 않습니다. 결과만으로 사용자의 권리나 자격을 정하지 않습니다.
7. 위치와 날씨
허용한 경우 그날 날씨를 보여 주기 위해서만 위치를 씁니다.
위치 좌표는 기기에서 OpenWeather로 바로 보내 날씨만 받아 옵니다. 회사 서버에 저장하지 않고 이동 경로를 추적하지 않습니다.
광고 SDK는 IP 주소로 대략적인 지역을 짐작할 수 있습니다.
기기 설정에서 언제든 위치 권한을 끌 수 있습니다. 끄면 날씨만 보이지 않습니다.
8. 광고
무료로 쓸 수 있도록 Google AdMob 광고를 보여 줍니다. Android 앱은 Unity Ads도 씁니다.
광고 SDK는 광고 식별자, IP 주소, 기기 정보, 광고 노출·클릭을 처리할 수 있습니다.
EU·영국 등 필요한 지역에서는 Google 동의 메시지로 맞춤형 광고 여부를 먼저 묻습니다.
iPhone 앱은 다른 회사의 앱·웹사이트에 걸친 추적을 하지 않으며 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 요청하지 않습니다.
꿈 기록과 건강 데이터는 광고에 쓰지 않습니다.
9. 분석과 오류 보고
Android 앱은 Firebase Analytics(앱 사용 통계)와 Firebase Crashlytics(충돌 보고)를 씁니다. iPhone 앱과 Apple Watch 앱은 쓰지 않습니다.
앱 안의 출석과 기능 사용 기록은 내 계정에 저장되어 성장 기록과 서비스 개선에 쓰입니다.
충돌·성능 같은 진단 정보는 문제를 고치는 데만 씁니다.
10. 결제
구독(Known Pass)과 드림 오브는 App Store 또는 Google Play로 결제합니다.
구매 확인과 복원을 위해 상품 ID, 거래 ID 또는 구매 토큰, 구독 상태를 처리합니다. 카드 번호 같은 결제 수단 정보는 받지 않습니다.
환불과 구독 해지는 각 스토어의 정책과 계정 설정을 따릅니다.
11. 처리 위탁과 국외 이전
개인정보를 팔지 않습니다. 서비스 제공을 위해 아래 회사에 처리를 맡기며, 정보는 해당 기능을 쓸 때 암호화된 통신으로 전송됩니다.

Known. (operated by Faylum) is an app for recording your dreams and sleep. This policy explains what information the Known. apps for iPhone, Android, Apple Watch and Wear OS, and this website, process and why. Effective: October 16, 2026 · Contact: support@faylum.com. The service is intended for users aged 14 or older; if the law of the user’s country of residence sets a higher age (for example, 16 in some European countries), that higher age applies.
1. Information We Collect
Account: Firebase user ID, sign-in method (Google, Apple, email or guest), email address (including Apple private relay addresses), nickname, and the name Apple shares the first time you sign in with Apple
Profile: date of birth, gender, country, and your answers to short questions about your daily life. If you use astrology, your birth time and birth city (optional)
Content you create: dream entries, morning mood and the previous day's tags, reflections and Nox conversations, tarot questions, stories, images and books you make, posts, comments, signals (anonymous letters) and replies in World, dreams you send and replies you leave in Dream Sync, and support requests and reports
Health (only if you allow it): on iPhone, sleep stages, heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), respiratory rate, blood oxygen, sleeping breathing disturbances and wrist temperature from Apple Health; on Android, sleep, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and skin temperature from Health Connect
Voice (only if you allow it): dreams you speak into the microphone and dreams you record on your watch
Location (only if you allow it): your approximate device location, used for the weather
Purchases: product ID, transaction ID or purchase token, and subscription status. We never receive card numbers or other payment details.
Device and usage: notification token, app installation ID, advertising identifiers, device model, OS and app version, check-ins and feature use, ad impressions and clicks, crash and error data, and, if you installed through a promotional link, that link's source (Android)
2. How We Use Information
To save your dream journal, sync it across devices, and provide reflections, reports, stories and other features
To show last night's sleep and sleep reports, and to run alarms and the watch apps
To sign you in, protect your account, prevent abuse, and verify and restore purchases
To send notifications, if you turn them on
To run features between users, such as World and Dream Sync, and to handle reports
To show ads and measure ad and promotion performance so the app can be used for free
To fix errors, improve quality, answer your questions and comply with the law
3. Your Dreams and Shared Content
Your dream entries, conversations and sleep records are stored in your account (Firebase), so they follow you to a new device.
Posts, comments, books and signals you share in World can be seen by other users until you delete them.
When you connect Dream Sync, the dreams you choose to send and the replies you leave are shown, exactly as written, to the one person you connected with. Nothing else you record is shown.
Reported content is reviewed, and content that breaks the rules may be hidden or removed.
Dreams can be very personal. We recommend not writing details that identify other people.
4. Health Data
We read health data only if you allow it, and store it in your account to show last night's sleep and your sleep reports. Known. does not write data to Apple Health or Health Connect.
During a Resonance session on the watch, your heart rate is read live to adjust the sound. When the session ends, the heart rate readings are not kept; only a short summary (starting, final and lowest heart rate) stays on your device to explain the session the next day, and it is not sent to our servers. On Apple Watch this uses workout session permission, but no workout is saved.
Only if you agree to AI features, a summary of that night (such as time asleep and heart rate) is used for the sleep commentary. Raw health records are never sent.
Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never used for insurance, credit or employment decisions.
You can turn off access at any time in the Health app or Health Connect. Values already saved are deleted when you delete your account, or on request by email.
5. Microphone and Watch Recordings
The microphone is used only when you speak a dream. Your speech is turned into text by the device's speech recognition (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android), and we do not store this audio on our servers.
Dreams recorded on your watch are moved to your phone and turned into text. If you subscribe, the recording can be uploaded to our server and transcribed and tidied up with OpenAI.
Original recordings on our server are deleted once the text is saved to your journal. Until then they are kept so they can be transcribed again, and deleting the dream or your account deletes them too.
6. AI Features (OpenAI)
Dream interpretations and reflections, Dream flow, stories, images and books, fortune, tarot and astrology, guardian animal explanations, Look Within, Nox, sleep commentary, watch recording transcription and World translations are created with the OpenAI API.
We send information only after you agree the first time, and you can turn this off at any time in Settings → Support → Use AI features. If you turn it off, AI features stop and your records stay usable. However, if you only use an older version of the Android app without the consent screen, information is sent without this step when you use AI features. Once you update the app, it is sent only after you agree.
Posts you share in World may be translated with OpenAI when another user asks to read them in their language.
What we send: the dream you wrote or recorded and the answers you chose, your conversations and questions, a summary of that night's sleep, and birth chart values for astrology. Each feature sends only what it needs.
What we never send: account details such as your name or email, contacts, or raw health records.
OpenAI processes this information on our behalf and does not use it to train models or for advertising. It may keep it for up to 30 days to monitor abuse, then deletes it.
AI results are for reference only and do not replace medical or psychological advice. They are never the sole basis for decisions about your rights or eligibility.
7. Location and Weather
If you allow it, we use your location only to show the day's weather.
Your device sends the coordinates directly to OpenWeather to get the weather. We do not store your location on our servers or track where you go.
Ad SDKs may estimate your approximate region from your IP address.
You can turn off location access at any time in your device settings. Only the weather will be hidden.
8. Advertising
Known. shows Google AdMob ads so it can be used for free. The Android app also uses Unity Ads.
Ad SDKs may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, and ad impressions and clicks.
In the EU, the UK and other regions where it is required, Google's consent message asks for your choice about personalized ads first.
The iPhone app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites and does not request the advertising identifier (IDFA).
Your dream entries and health data are never used for advertising.
9. Analytics and Crash Reports
The Android app uses Firebase Analytics (app usage statistics) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports). The iPhone and Apple Watch apps do not use them.
Check-ins and feature use inside the app are stored in your account and used for your growth record and to improve the service.
Diagnostic data such as crashes and performance is used only to fix problems.
10. Payments
Subscriptions (Known Pass) and Dream Orbs are paid through the App Store or Google Play.
To verify and restore purchases, we process the product ID, transaction ID or purchase token, and subscription status. We never receive card numbers or other payment details.
Refunds and cancellations follow each store's policies and your account settings.
11. Service Providers and International Transfers
We do not sell your personal information. To run the service we use the providers below, and information is sent over encrypted connections when you use the related feature.
Google LLC (USA and other countries): Firebase sign-in, database, storage, servers and notifications, AdMob ads, and Analytics and Crashlytics on Android — kept while your account exists
OpenAI, L.L.C. (USA): AI features and watch recording transcription — sent each time you use them after agreeing, kept for up to 30 days
OpenWeather Ltd (UK): weather — location coordinates, not stored by us
Zoho Corporation (USA): sending email sign-in codes and handling support, report and feedback emails — email address and message content
Unity Technologies (USA): ads on Android — advertising identifier and device information
These providers are required, by contract and their own policies, to protect your information to the same or an equal standard as this policy.
Apple and Google run sign-in, payments and health platforms under their own policies.
If you do not want your information transferred abroad, you can turn off AI features or delete your account; the related features will then be unavailable.
We disclose information only in response to a lawful request, and only as far as necessary.
12. Retention and Deletion
Account information, dreams and sleep records are kept while your account exists.
When you ask to delete your account, it is deactivated right away and can be restored by signing in again within 7 days. After 7 days, your account and data are permanently deleted. Guest accounts are deleted immediately and cannot be restored.
Original watch recordings are deleted once the text is saved to your journal; until then they are kept until you delete the dream or your account. OpenAI may keep processed data for up to 30 days.
Information the law requires us to keep, such as payment records, and records of reports and disputes, is kept separately only as long as needed and then deleted.
Deleted information is destroyed so that it cannot be recovered.
13. Your Rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your information.
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Our account deletion page explains how to delete without the app.
You can turn off AI features, notifications, and location, health and microphone access at any time in the app's settings or your device settings.
Email support@faylum.com and we will handle your request without delay after confirming your identity. In the EU and the UK, you can also complain to a data protection authority.
14. Children
The service is intended for users aged 14 or older. If the date of birth entered when creating a profile shows the user is under 14, sign-up does not continue and that profile is not saved.
If we learn that information from a child under 14 was collected without a parent's or guardian's consent, we delete it without delay.
Parents or guardians may request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of a child's personal information.
15. Security, Changes and Contact
We encrypt data in transit and limit access to the people and systems that need it.
App lock with Face ID or similar is checked only on your device. We never receive biometric data.
If we change this policy, we will post it in the app and on this page, and give notice before important changes take effect.
